Use someone else. Red flags went up when his patient information forms had several spelling errors. If he doesn't care how he looks to new patients, then you can feel that his overall practice is just sloppy. It has been 2 weeks since my colonoscopy/upper GI tests were done.... I have heard nothing regarding biopsies. I called the office and they told me they left a voice mail on my phone. That's very easily checked. No missed calls from them. No voice mails from them. Dr. Aftahi is dangerous. When told his treatment plan for me was unacceptable he then denied my FMLA paperwork and told me I had no restrictions. Please note that I was seen in the ER 6 times in the last 2 months for chronic GI issues that ended up having my license suspended (due to medical reasons.) everything I said to him fell on deaf ears except for when I told him he was a f**king idiot, then they dropped me as a patient.
