This review is for the admit level as I give the ER a 5 RATING considering one of the ER doctors unknowingly began the process of solving of a 25-30 year medical mystery!!!! If you appreciate your life stay away
My grandmother was in the hospital due to Leukemia and needed blood transfusions, and other procedures. Her nurses on the 3rd floor east while she was there, Odette and Adrienne, were absolutely amazing. Both were compassionate, caring and patient. In this difficult time, they cheered her up and made her feel comfortable. You can tell by the way they treated her that they love their jobs.
Was there with my mom. I was there for 12 hours and I asked for two things, someone to help get me new supplies, bc she peed all over the floor, and secondly I asked for a pad to refresh my moms bed about 3 hours later. I only asked for actual physical help one time to take her to the bathroom, so I'm not sure why in 9 hours why it would take a 1/2 hour to clean up the floor and another 1/2 hour to bring a pad. I had surgery at Palms West Hospital and received the best treatment. It was my first as a patient at Palms West and I can't rave enough about my experience. I received professional and compassionate care from the clerks to the nurses to the doctors. Palms West is a top notch hospital for all your medical and surgical needs.
