Dr Rubio can be an excellent and effective Doctor, and has good insights, but also.. he has a poor clinical manner: Frequently gets frustrated, annoyed and condescending, therefore not a good fit for the mentally impaired or other high-touch patients. Some reflection of that is found in his staff as well.
Dr. Rubio was referred to me by my pulmonologist after I almost died of massive blood clots in 2001. He helped me afterward with myriad ailments. I cannot say enough about Dr. Rubio's thoroughness, compassion, communication skills, caring, and the unhurried nature of our visits. He is a great guy and a great doctor.
