I attended my first appointment today with Dr Gana in Waikiki. He took the time to listen and took the time to explain what he is looking for and what tests I need to have done. He is knowledgeable about the affects if SLE on the heart and was knowledgeable about all the different medications I'm on. I was grateful to be able to get in to see him without much of a wait. Such a disappointment. After seeking after care after a quad bypass. Dr Gana told us my husbands heart was enlarged on one side and this needs to be investigated. We rushed to get a sleep test and a stress echo to try to find out what was going on. Worried sick we waited for Dr Gana’s call. When he phoned, he said he hasn’t looked at the echo and the sleep test was inconclusive but see how you go. Come back in 12 months.
