Great neuro surgeon, office staff are sweet
Dr. Koga performed lumbar fusion surgery on my wife who has had chronic back pain and foot drop. She had seen many neurosurgeons all over, who would see us and then were unsure if they could operate on her. Dr.Koga explained every step of the procedure to the max, which no one ever explained before. My wife and I actually understood the reasoning behind her symptoms. Never had a visit, but I have some issues that I needed to be seen for. The VA listed the VA New Orleans Medical Ctr as one of the top centers for my issue, and it listed Dr. Koga as a doctor on that team. He no longer works at the VA, but I requested a referral to see him and was told that he denies patients referred by the VA. That was disheartening.............
