Dr. Childs performed a total knee replacement on February 5, 2025. A knee reconstruction was performed in 1980 and I suffered with pain and limited mobility since that time. My result from the knee replacement performed by Dr. Childs is nothing short of miraculous. I followed his advice on physical therapy after the surgery and I am amazed by the result. I wish I had done this a decade ago! I cannot thank Dr. Childs enough for giving me the information to make the decision to have this surgery. My results are fantastic.
Dr Childs and his team are nothing short of AMAZING!! I was so scared to have a hip replacement but Dr Childs and his team made me feel at ease! They answered any and all questions that I had to the fullest extent. When I came home from the hospital after my hip replacement, Dr. Child’s called me that night to see how I was doing. He is An amazing doctor and would highly recommend to anyone!
I love my fancy new knee. Dr. Childs and his team provided an excellent experience in the replacement of a very painful knee.

I had significant breaks in my ankle. From the ER at Clifton Springs, to surgery from Dr. Childs 3 days later, the experience was seamless. Dr. Childs worked me in for surgery as he was going away, and didn't want me to wait a week. I am so appreciative of that. The entire staff in surgery were so wonderful to me. They explained every detail, as did Dr. Childs. I feel so lucky to have Clifton Springs Hospital, and the WNY Finger Lakes Bone Joint Clinic. Thank You!
