Dr. Child's and his surgical team were top notch throughout the entire process. Highly recommended for anyone suffering the pain of a non-functioning hip.
I highly recommend Dr. Childs for a total knee replacement. I cannot be more pleased with the entire knee replacement process and procedure. Dr. Childs and staff kept us, my husband, daughter and myself, informed as to what to expect along the way. The entire experience from the initial examination and diagnosis through rehabilitation, has been handled in the most professional and personable manner. I started out with another doctor who was incredibly pompous. I decided to change doctors. I found Dr. Childs almost accidently. I can't tell you how happy I am that I did. First impressions go a long way. On my first visit with him, he shook my hand and introduced himself. I found him to be very professional, but personable and not arrogant or condescending. All of the staff in the office have great to deal with. I am two weeks out of total knee replacement and walking better than I have in years.
I was amazed at the level of care, attention and knowledge that I received. The preparation and information that was given to me to understand the whole process was great. The detailed instructions to prepare for surgery, and the instructions on discharge with charts on what medications to take at what time, etc. were extremely helpful.Any questions I had were answered right away.
