On December 10, 2025, I had my first appointment at Dr. Scott Samona’s office at 19725 Allen Rd., Brownstown Twp., MI. I was very impressed with how organized the office was. I signed in for my 8:00 AM appointment, and before I knew it, my name was called. A very nice staff member took me back to the X-ray room. I had three X-rays taken. Hi saw Dr Samona and was very pleased with how fast I was able to get in and he was very thorough and made sure I understood everything. The staff was so comforting. I would highly recommend Dr Samona if you’re looking for a good hand surgeon.
I discovered I had carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands with a test that I have been given. Dr Scott Samona was very thorough by showing me an ultrasound on my wrist how pinched my nerves were and how I needed surgery. I made my appointment instantly and I'm getting it done pretty darn fast! Doing one hand at a time! It should only be a 15-minute procedure but I will be put under during the process. I didn’t have to wait very long to see doctor. Staff was very nice.
I had my first and only visit with this office on 2/12/25 after waiting a month for an appointment. While the doctor seemed fine, the office staff was less than helpful and disorganized. During my visit, I noticed errors in my paperwork, including a typo in my address and a misspelling of my name. They give you an iPad too review and update stuff yourself but since I was there with hand issues and their system was not responding well, I wasn't able to correct these things.
