From the moment I made the initial phone call for an appointment, I was satisfied. Professionalism, patience, and pleasant-ness in the receptionist's voice were the ingredients of customer service I look for. Once I arrived and saw the facility (before a genuinely warm greeting), I was hooked. I am so happy with the outcome of my procedures. I am an anxious patient, new to gum grafting surgery, and Dr. Smith and his staff put me at ease with their professionalism, expertise, and explanations. I am so very happy to have found this office.
Having been to three periodontists now I feel I can recommend Dr Smith, with some caveats. He listens and helps diagnose any underlying gum issues prior to surgery and takes a very active role in gum health. However the business side of his office is a mess. For only accepting 5 different dental insurances and providing a limited number of services (periodontal work), one would expect they know the insurance codes backwards and forwards by now.
