I went for my first appointment here just yesterday and I have no complaints. Let me just say that I learned SO much from just one appointment than I ever had over the many years at my previous dentistries. It may sound a little silly, but I was even taught AND shown how to floss properly. I learned about saliva (gross but really important), plaque, gum health, and even how to choose the right toothpaste and mouth rinse! Patient awareness and being informed makes for better experience. Patients need to be informed of bruising, redness, swelling etc., at areas being treated. IE: If an injection is made near/where a temporary crown and permanent crown will be placed, the patient should be informed of "what to expect" ie; the injection site may cause pain when chewing food or rubbing against lips, gums etc. I believe that an informed patient will make a long range patient and will often be the source of "patient referrals".
