Dr Sursarlas patient care is the pure bare minimum. She is more focused on esthetic care than actual family practice. She will not examine you properly nor stay in the room with you more than 5 minutes. All her new NPs and PAs are so much better than the actual Doctor herself. Find care elsewhere.
My family and I have been seeing Dr. Susarla for over 5 years. Very pleased with her. She takes the time to listen to you, gets you in ASAP if you have an urgent issue or concern. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Bad!
We recently changed to Dr. Susarla after changing our health plan, and I have to say I am very happy having her as my family's medical provider. Offices are clean, staff is very friendly. They were able to accommodate me within the hour twice in the last two years when I came down with a bad cough. I feel she prescribes the correct medicine, and also gave me alternative methods to avoid bad congestion (go neti-pot!!). In terms of the wait time - this isn't fast food people, she's a doctor!
I was seeing this doctor for last few years but never was satisfied after visiting her. This time she processed my prescription 3 times and still did not get it right. After seeing my results, she realized that she missed some of the tests and I have to go again to get it tested. I am very upset with her n her staff's unprofessional and absentminded behavior. I am moving to different doctor now. Also, every time you go she makes you wait at least an hour & wont recommend her to anybody.
Is really nice on your first visit, but then it quickly goes south if you are informed about your treatment. Gets upset when questioned
You wait over an got to be seen by the doctor. Then she rushed through the appointment as if you are waisting her time. Very disheartening.
I have been seeing Savitha for over 8 years now and she has been nothing sort of amazing at trying to help me figure out what's wrong. She's always willing to listen and try out different medicines to see what works. If there is anytime she is unsure, she'll usually send me to someone she thinks can help. Sometimes I do feel like she doesn't spend enough time but I understand they have to see a lot of patients.
