I felt I received only superficial care from Dr. Rahimi. He seemed to only be interested in whether or not I was a surgical candidate, and didn't want to entertain any discussion about medications, lifestyle, or new cutting edge approaches to managing carotid artery disease. I did not feel like I was a whole person to him.
Excellent care provided to my wife and later my 1st cousin. My wife had a stent inserted for an abdominal aortic aneurysm 1 year ago. No complications and all follow-up by Dr. Rahimi was handled professionally. My 1st cousin also was diagnosed with AAA and I immediately recommended Dr. Rahimi to him. He had a stent inserted approx. 4 months ago with no complications. He is doing well considering he is 82.
Dr. Rahimi and his staff are very professional and attentive to their patients. I went to Dr. Rahimi for follow up on a previous surgery performed by another surgeon that had complications. I did my research and learned that Dr. Rahimi is a gifted vascular surgeon. You can view an actual carotid artery surgery performed by Dr, Rahimi for teaching purposes on you-tube. He came highly recommended by my neurologist and after my appointment with Dr. Rahimi I was happy I made the switch.
On 12/10 I spoke with a receptionist, John, in Dr. Rahimi's office regarding an urgent - i.e., life threatening - medical issue that required a consultation with Dr. Rahimi. John let me know that the earliest appointment was more than 4 weeks out, which I found unacceptable.
