Went to her for my hemithyroidectomy, and had the smoothest experience. She was extremely knowledgeable, took the time to explain the nuances of my genotype results, described the procedure and associated risks clearly, and was reassuring throughout the consultation and procedure. Dr Parangi, did my son's Thyroid Surgery, She was exemplary , she was extremely knowledgeable, explained everything in detail, She was very caring and kind. She came highly recommended and if we had to do it all over again we wouldn't have chosen another MD, the only thing I would have changed is my son's cancer, I wish he never had it. I am so grateful to Dr Parangi for the great job she did. Thank you so much!!
Dr Parangi is an excellent, experienced surgeon. I had 3 parathyroid glands removed. She is caring, patient and very available outside of office hours for any questions or issues related to the surgery. She and the PA are highly competent and responsive and the office staff are friendly. She was patient, explained procedure and aftercare thoroughly and answered all my questions. I recently had a total thyroidectomy and was impressed with all the care I received. From office staff to PA to Dr Parangi for consult thru surgery and follow up, it was a positive experience .
I am stunned by even the slightly positive reviews. This doctor has a difficult personality and not easy to communicate with. I will leave it at that
Sareh is a fine surgeon. However, her bedside manner is horrendous and if I had listened to her suggestions, my thyroid cancer would have spread. If you don't care about how your doctor treats you or if you like doctors that dismiss symptoms that actually turn out to be cancer, she's the one!
