Gosh, I am dating myself but loved Dr Garrisi and staff back in 2000! Even though our outcome was not a positive one, she was always so kind and caring, along with her staff at St Barnabas. She referred us to another infertility specialist, can’t remember his name but they both were wonderful. We tried everything and it was just not meant to be. In the end we adopted a beautiful baby girl, now 22 in her last year of College. I could not thank them all for being so caring and supportive!
Fertility issues are extremely personal for us and the journey is challenging. The last thing needed is a doctor who judges your preferences, feelings, and reactions to bad experiences. The first reg flag was being told our miscarriage is no big deal and to just get over it. The second red flag is being told that we can only do things one way and not having any of our preferences accounted for. I felt like I was being treated like a walking uterus as opposed to a human being with my own thoughts and emotions.
Dr Hessler and her team are the best! From the first call to graduating to my obgyn, Dr Hessler and her team made this difficult and challenging process as smooth as possible. We decided to do IVF on Memorial Day weekend 2023, made the call on Tuesday and got our consultation appointment a week later. And started the testing process almost immediately, on July 10th we had our first egg retrieval. Dr. Hessler is an amazing doctor, and everyone at IRMS Clark is wonderful! They're very kind, helpful and will answer any questions that you send through the portal. Going through this process on my own could have been daunting, but everyone at IRMS Clark has been very supportive. Through everything (surgery, egg retrievals, etc), Dr. Hessler has always listened to my concerns and offered reassurance and/or solutions. I could not have asked for a better doctor. I'd recommend her to anyone.
Office visits, ultrasound, and bloodwork appointments are always on time, which is great when you’re limited on time yourself. The support staff, especially ultrasound tech is helpful and caring, and Dr. Thompson is amazing and explains everything in detail. IVF center where the procedure is performed is excellent. Overall successful and wonderful experience, worlds away better then my experience with RMA.
I strongly endorse Dr. Sarah C. Hessler for her exceptional abilities in assisting couples with conception. Her knowledge and direct approach are truly impressive. With just one treatment, she demonstrated her expertise by successfully helping us conceive, which speaks volumes about her capabilities. She is literally an angel for us. The day I went to see her, she promised that I will walk out pregnant from her office. It was a third transfer which was successful. I had almost given up on this IVF process, it was causing me emotional and physical trauma. But Dr.Hessler is one a human being who would rule out all possibilities but never give up on you. Dr. Mann is truly one of a kind. You can not go wrong by choosing her & her team to help get you pregnant!!! She is compassionate, thoughtful, extremely intelligent, very professional and an excellent listener. She is the second REI who has taken care of me.
