Did not see the doctor. Only called to see her (she is listed as my primary physician). Could not swallow, possible strep throat. Was told I had to call back in 3 days since they were not accepting new patients. I told the receptionist, some young girl with an attiude, that didnt make sense I needed to see the Dr urgently. "thats just how it works around here". I called BS, ok maybe shouldnt have but then she slammed the phone down on me. not acceptable and I changed providers.

Dr Apsley has been my only Dr in San Antonio since I got here in 1987. I recently changed my medicare provider to stay with her. My old provider is setting up their own clinics with own Docs. (United Health). She has always been very good at listening and explaining. I recommend her fore sure to my friends.

Dr. Apsley-Ambriz is a great doctor. Enough to where I drive across town to keep her as my doctor. Today I called to make an appointment to refill my prescription for birth control and the girl on the phone told me I haven’t been in since 2016 and I’ve been kicked out as a patient. Although I’ve had a papsmear and biopsy done in the last year(not something you forget about) and they told me they have no record of that and they’re no longer accepting new patients. Not worth the drive to deal with

Worst office staff of any physician I have visited! They consistently mis-schedule appointments, do not answer/return calls/messages, and have no level of friendliness. This office is exceptionally disorganized, and the doctor is no exception. On more than one occasion she refused to refill an essential prescription unless I came in for an exam -- even though it was impossible to get in to see her before my prescription (with detrimental side effects if not taken) was scheduled to run out.
