I took my mother there for an eye surgery and she left crying over how horribly the doctor treated her. He was short tempered with her even before the procedure began because her eye would not dilate, which is not her fault. Once the procedure began she said he kept on getting upset with her because her eye was moving. My poor mother was nervous as anyone would be having instruments and such stuck into their eye. She said he ended the procedure by ripping a piece of tape off her face and walking out of the room. No explanati... read more
I had a wonderful experience with Dr Villazon office, care and surgery. He took the time to explain the surgery and aftercare. Loved everything about my cataract surgery experience.
Dr. Villazon is very text book and seems not to care about what the patient has to say. His responses to questions can be dismissive bordering on arrogant. My neighbor needed a procedure that Dr. VIllazon said was not possible and too risky to try. They went to another surgeon who had no problem whatsoever successively doing that procedure without question.
Dr. V's manner is disappointing and bothersome. He doesn't seem to listen carefully or even care about my daughter's visual difficulties. He has also defensively back-pedaled on a number of suggestions he has no memory of having made or will take responsibility for. Not good. His defensive responses make me question his competence.
Dr Villazon was a phenomenal doctor to work with. The entire process was well described and prepared for and happened exactly as he presented. This helped ease any anxiety that I had about the process. During the procedure he would guide me through the whole process and ensure I was comfortable and safe. I am now one month post surgery with no complications and exactly as expected from a vision standpoint. Working with Dr Villazon and Boston Vision was one of the best decisions I have made and would highly recommend him in p... read more
I am very upset and disappointed with this doctor. I went to this doctor due to the reviews I saw online. I had a pap smear done about 6 months ago and I still have not got my results. I called the office 8 times over 6 months and was told that they will get the doctor to call me back with all my test results including mammogram. I have yet to hear from the doctor. Within the 6 months I had numerous problems Including pelvic pain and swelling and pain on one of my breast. I called the office to let them know. Each time I was... read more
My experience with Dr. Aran was excellent. He is assertive and very knowledgeable in his occupation. The staff treated me kindly and answer all my questions. I had a very difficult cataract. Eye Broward Inst. and Bascom Palmer (Ellen Koo, Luis Vazquez, and two other cataract specialist)refused to take my case. Dr. Aran, on the other hand, welcomed the challenge and made me feel secure. "Shame to does who take advantage of the ill and are corrupt in their trade". Thank you for restoring my vision
After having several procedures done by him, I find him totally reliable and trustworthy. The staff is also excellent.
Dr. Aran is a wonderful doctor and he was very thorough in explaining the cataract surgery and the options I had in selecting an upgraded lens so I don't have to depend on glasses !! Great News !!
