Dr Gupta is clearly one of the world’s best orthopaedic experts. He is humble and kind, not interested in talking himself up, but his work and the care he puts in says it all. This is a man who has never doomscrolled in his life.
Dr Gupta exudes volumes of positivity and knowledge, putting to rest any anxiety one may have prior to surgery. He operated on my ankle and it was wonderful to see him so often in the ward checking in to see that all was good. I am 6 weeks post surgery and my new hip is nothing short of miraculous. I was very anxious about having a hip replacement but my experience has been really positive. Both Sanjeev and Fiona have the most reassuring and positive bedside manner and their communication and accessibility have been fabulous. Sanjeev responded personally to all my pre surgery questions. Dr Gupta is simply amazing. He completed my husband’s hip replacement last month and it has been such a smooth process. The surgery was difficult due to existing hardware from a previous injury, however, Dr Gupta has left my husband virtually pain free. He spent 2 nights in hospital, and was home and on his feet 2 days after surgery. Dr Gupta’s manner is just lovely. He makes you feel valued, with regular check ins post surgery.
