I'm writing about two gum graft procedures I received 2.5 years ago from Dr. Koo, but writing this now that I'm seeing a new periodontist who seems really perplexed by what he did. Every time these new dentists look at my mouth they say that the graft just isn't even sitting at my gumline, it's fully sitting below my teeth on my gums -- my gumline is still very recessed and uncovered, and I was very diligent with aftercare. Absolutely horrible surgeon. I was sent here for crown lengthening surgery and first, it would’ve been nice to know *before* they injected me with local anesthetic that my insurance was maxed out for the year and then procedure would be over $2K. Anyways, typically when dentists perform a procedure, they tap the affected area to see if the anesthetic is working and pain can be felt. Nope, not Dr. Koo. Had to ask him about seven times to apply more anasthetic because the pain was horrific. His assistant also has no idea what ... read more
Happy birthday Ana. All the pink ladies were as excellent as Dr. Koo. I was sooo nervous and now after my extraction I feel so relieved - both from the physical and the emotional support from the entire team. Great teamwork!! Thank you Dr. KOO, Ana, Liriane & Vicky. 😀
