Despite being fully aware of the urgency of the patient’s medical condition, this family physician refused to issue a referral to a specialist. We had to personally contact the specialists required. Pick one, explain the urgency ourselves, confirm whether the specialist would accept the patient. Even after completing these steps, we informed this family physician, he still declined to write the referral. I’ve been seeing Dr. Sammy Lee for years and have always received excellent care. He’s knowledgeable, attentive, and takes the time to listen. The clinic is well-organized and the staff are friendly. I truly trust him and highly recommend his clinic.
