I havs been going to Dr Basata for about 5 years. Recently, he deemed a stent needed. They are absolutely terrible on me, with the stent removal worse then a kidney stone. Dr Basata said he had ways to make it better and that at anytime I could tell him to stop and they would schedule it to be removed in surgery. It was about 90% better than with other doctors. Yes, it was bad for about 70 seconds. But it was bearable. Dr. Basata is one of the best doctors I have ever had. Definitely check him out!

Very disappointed. I didn’t even get to see the doctor after a week of jumping through hoops just to get an apt. I got them a referral, agreed to transfer from my previous urologist (the doctor was concerned I would see him and not like him and go somewhere else?), got them paperwork from the ER. After a week of back and forth, I was told, go back to your previous urologist. Doctor won’t see you.
Was a patient here, kept up with my meds, doc never asked for a recheck. After 6 years on bladder medication they refused me any refills, told me I was considered a new patient and that they weren't taking new patients. So just like that I am out of my bladder medication and no refills. Will be leaking like crazy again without the medication.
