This is the best office I have ever been to (of any medical specialty ever.) Normally I am accustomed to being my own advocate and dealing with insurance blockades and appeals, but this office has taken care of all of that for me. I see Darin Vaughn (PA) and Dr Kamel. They prescribed me a medication, my insurance denied it, and I got a message from the office saying essentially don't worry, you don't have to do anything, we will handle it. I had a colonoscopy today and it went great. The lady's Tabitha and Kelly were very nice. They made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Kamel was excellent. He talked to me and also made me feel very comfortable. He came out and told me the results of my colonoscopy. He has a great personality. I'd recommend Dr Kamel to anyone.
They need to hire better people to answer the phones and make appointment,mine was made two months out have bleeding going on called to confirm no one called back three weeks ?? I call left message I missed her call back Can’t get anyone on the phone that knows anything !!
Blatant lack of empathy from his office staff. On 5/19, I called a wk before my colonoscopy and asked twice to confirm whether there was anything else I needed to do differently prior to the 2 day prep and was told no both times. Well after I started the two day prep, only having water and starting the laxatives, a family member told me I shouldn’t eat seeds/nuts the wk before either.
