If I could give this office a zero star I would. I have been dealing with this office since October 2024. I was referred to him by my doctor and it was one of the worst referrals I have experienced. He hardly explained anything to me and sent me to get a fibroscan done. It took until March 2025 for me to figure out where I could go with no help from this office. Dr. Barkatullah is a fantastic doctor. I have been going to him for years and been in remission since. He is knowledgeable and always genuine- I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new provider!
This doctor rushed through our appt then scheduled me for a couple of procedures to investigate my symptoms. When my results came back in, they had from the office staff, someone who is not a nurse or a doctor call me back. She explained the findings to me, which were all mostly benign and positive but still did not explain my symptoms. So I asked if the doctor or nurse could try to investigate a little further since there was still no resolution. They deleted my appointment an hour before it was supposed to begin because I do not do the confirmation thing. No doctor I have ever met will flat out cancel the appointment. AND that information was never disclosed when booking the appointment. I am autistic and I do not have the capacity for technology. I do not do phone calls or texting, I don’t even watch TV. I would have understood the rule if it was disclosed during booking, but I do not know how the patient is supposed to understand what they are not told.
