I can't say enough about Dr. Abbruzzese and the staff. I recently moved to Narragansett and was in need of a primary care physician and was so happy to have found him and his team. It was easy to make an appointment and he listened to my myriad of issues and put together some tests and treatment right away. I was particularly impressed by his positive and energetic nature as well as his rapid response time. He dives right in and starts problem solving right away. Couldn't ask for a better physician!
I was vacationing in Rhode Island and my leg began to swell. As an older person I was very concerned. Especially since my personal physician was miles away. Dr. Abbruzzese examined me that day and immediately allayed my concern. The next day I had tests that confirmed Dr Abbruzzese’s initial diagnosis. I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation. If I were a resident of Wakefield, RI, without question, I would get on the waitlist for Dr. Abbruzzese’s concierge practice.
I became a patient last year and have found Dr Sal to be knowledgeable and a good doctor.
Positively the worst experience I have ever had with a medical doctor. Totally unprofessional. I read here how he treated his existing patients when he decided to go concierge 6 months ago. Don’t bother. Save your money.
Dr. Sal switched to concierge service and dropped me as a patient before the deadline to return the provided packet without informing me 1st. My wife called to pay a bill 15 days before the deadline to pay them for concierge service and was informed I was no longer a patient. She was in tears with the receptionist and all they would say is I would be added to a wait list. There was no indication the concierge switch would be first pay first served.
