Dr. Hashmi is a stand up guy. I have a family member who has been on pain pills for far too long. He scheduled an appointment with dr hashmi, and he worked with him to get off of the narcotic pain medicine. First doctor to not just hand out pain pills like candy he's been to.
I've been using Dr.Salman Hashmi for approx 4 years. There is usually a long office wait but I attribute that to the time and care he takes with his patients, not to mention he is very busy. As far as billing there was one period of time when he changed billing companies and I was double billed. I did provide the bank statements where I had paid the bill and it was taken off my account. I have recommended 2 of my family members to him and they have been pleased as well.
Dr. Hashmi has provided me with primary health care for the past 5 plus years. He is a very good doctor and laughs and cracks light hearted jokes with his patients to decrease their stress level and put them at ease. He is never in a hurry and spends at least 15 minutes with me whenever I visit his office. His staff is courteous and I never had a billing issue with them. I have no idea what some other reviewers are talking about, buy I would recommend him to anybody without hesitation.

Worst experience I've EVER had. My insurance automatically set them as my pcp based from my address. My appt. was scheduled at 8:30 however, I wasn't provided a room until 9:20 nor provided any paperwork to complete which was extremely weird since I was a new patient. After waiting on the exam room the doctor comes in asking me a 10 question survey that appeared to be memorized. He then shook my hand and said everything looked fine and maybe I should schedule another appt.WASTE OF MY 3 HRS!
This doctor and his staff should be shut down. You can't understand the doc, the staff members are a joke and the billing department can't even file the claims under the correct tax id number. Very Low class care and service. Keep looking before you decide to see this doctor.
