I'm posting this to hopefully educate other men who have the same condition as I had. In November of 2020 I underwent a PAE with Dr.Mehta. The outcome was a modest improvement from previous symptoms. As part of the procedure most patients require an MRI of the prostate. I did as well. What troubles me to this day is I had a Dominant Median lobe extending from the top of my prostate into my bladder. Doctor Mehta gave me my life back. This is the shortest way to describe my experience. For years I suffered from multiple urinary problems such as urinary retentions, bleedings, frequency, residual urin in bludder, pelvic pain and emergency room admissions. dr, mehta listened to what my situation was --listened to my concerns. dr. mehta gave me answers about my situation and answered my concerns. straight and to the point led to setting the appointment for immediate P A E procedure at BETH ISRAEL DEACONESS HOSPITAL... the building --the registration -the prep area and even the procedure room was much like Dr. Mehta--peaceful, calming and very quiet!!! we are now 83 days from procedure ---- the first three weeks were as described at first meeting....... next two weeks were fille... read more

I recently had the wonderful experience of having a PAE performed by Dr. Mehta and his great staff at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital. I could not have asked for a better group of professionals handling this delicate procedure. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Mehta from the pre-surgery visits, through the operating room and follow up. You know you are in good hands with Dr. Mehta.

I had the PAE procedure done by Dr. Mehta about 10 weeks ago. My results have been very positive. Used to get up 4-6 times a night to pee, now 1 or 2 times. The urgency has been greatly reduced. I researched this procedure quite a bit and my biggest takeaway was that, for good results, it should be done by a very experienced Dr. So I was very pleased to have found Dr. Mehta as he is one of the more experienced Drs in the world who does this procedure. I highly recommend Dr Mehta and his staff.
