I’m sharing this experience with the permission of my mother because it’s important for patients to feel heard, respected, and properly informed. Symptoms should not be dismissed solely as weight-related. Seek this doctor if you can “loose 30 pounds in 3 weeks before your follow up appointment”. A close family member recently went to him. He was extremely condescending, dismissive of questions, and went so far as being insulting. No care or compassion at all. Find another cardiologist if you don't want to be talked down to. It's a shame he's employed by the Oklahoma Heart Hospital. They have a great reputation, but won't for long with him.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. Very unprofessional and rude. He didn’t listen. He talks over you the entire time. Didn’t really seem to care about my family history. Told me that my ejection fraction being at 45% on LV “could” just be my normal. I’ve been dealing with chest pains, arm pain, and back pain and he basically said I’m not having a heart stack right now and the pain is something I would have to just deal with. He is the most unprofessional physician that we have ever encountered. He had the audacity to call a 19 year old young lady “worthless” for not being able to proficiently translate for his 67 year old patient. Even went as far as asking why she had not learned English in her 25 years of being in the U.S. I don’t care what title you have, you DON’T speak to ANY patient in that manner. Don’t waste your time. He is rude and careless. Do yourself a favor and find another cardiologist.
