I had a small cavity only between first two molar teeth, but instead of treating just that area, the dentist placed full fillings on both teeth, removing more healthy tooth structure than necessary. This felt excessive and unnecessary for such a limited issue. In addition, the fillings were done very flat, without attempting to recreate the natural tooth anatomy, Since the procedure, my teeth have become very sensitive, even to normal water, which has made eating and drinking uncomfortable.
