Today is December 1 and I had an appointment at 9:45. When I showed up for this appointment the receptionist told me that I needed to change my insurance card so that the doctor was my primary care physician. Her expectation was that I will sit and wait in the waiting room on the phone with the insurance company until I got this corrected The doctor would not see me. I went there because that was the pcp on my card. I got a fast appointment and the staff was nice but I didn’t feel like the Dr listened to what I was saying, and I felt judged. They discuss private matters loudly and keep doors open when discussing personal concerns. I was put on medications I told the Dr have not worked for me in the past but she refused to listen to me now I’m going to have to jump through hoops for almost no results.. our healthcare system is messed up!!
