Great surgeon I would give him a 5. His staff is another story. My second surgery with him was rescheduled with another surgeon due to poor scheduling. I was rescheduled 5 times, the last with no notice and I showed up for surgery to find out he cancelled all surgeries for the day. His office didn't have my file correct and didn't have records of my visits. Parts needed for surgery was ordered wrong. My first surgery was excellent with him. The second surgery was a scheduling nightmare and I changed surgeons.
I caused a problem after upper neck surgery trying to move in my bed the night after surgery. Heard a loud cracking noise. Called to tell them. Didn’t seem concerned. Said they look at it when I came in for follow-up. Told him I had pain and asked him to look into the noise I heard but told not to worry. Subsequent follow-up still complained about the noise and the possibility of me causing damage but it was dismissed. It’s year and a half later MRI shows crack & seperation to the allograft
Sure he could help me. Performed spinal laminectomy on my back in 2013. Having no relief 3 months later I complained I felt worse. Was made to feel I was being dramatic but another MRI displayed a hematoma at surgical site. He said surgery would have to be done again to remove it. My trust in him was already shaken but I consented. Now almost 2018 I cannot walk on my own w/o a walker. MRI suggested by pain doctor shows nerve bundling a surgical site. Don't allow him to do this to you.
My sister and I visited Dr. Glasser a few years back to discuss my sister's brain tumor. His dismissive and casual attitude were the first red flag. We felt like we were in a 'fast-food' operation- hurried while discussing such a serious operation with someone who seemed rushed and uncaring. He discouraged us from getting a second opinion from the world renowned Mayo Clinic, saying "they don't perform surgeries there, they are just a clinic."—wrong! She had a successful surgery at Mayo!
It has been a year since my back surgery. I am 75 years old and love tennis and golf. Because of Dr. Glasser's amazing skills, I am back playing both sports with no pain and waking two miles a day. I recommend him very highly. He is both personable and extremely skilled. You could not be in better hands! He has given me my life back!
This doctor is beyond incredible! He and his staff are caring but professional and they are on top of everything! Both he and his PA have the most wonderful bedside manner, taking the time to explain everything and alleviating any fears. He did two carpal tunnel release surgeries and a microdiscectomy. He is not a cutter, however, and only agrees to do the surgery when it is warranted and other options have been eliminated.
It has been two years since Dr. Glasser performed the surgery that successfully eliminated my trigeminal neuralgia. I consider Dr. Glasser to be among the best of the best. Professional, yet caring, surrounded by a competent, friendly staff.
Dr Glasser is professional, patient, and the top of the top in his field. His office and medical support staff are terrific, too. He has been my spine surgeon for ten years and has kept me walking.. I trust him, and I'm grateful to have found him.
Had Spinal fusion done in 2014 to relieve pressure on my spinal cord. The whole experience was scary for me but everyone involved with my care made me feel like I was their top priority and put me at ease. Never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to see the doctor when I arrived for an appointment. Doctor Glasser was very informative and got my issue fixed pretty quickly. I highly recommend Dr Glasser and the fine staff of Neurosurgery and spine specialists LLC
