He was very polite, helpful and answered any and all questions I had about the surgery. He is a very caring doctor. He's nursing staff went above and beyond to help an anyway possible.
Dr. Legrand was off week-end after my surgery. On call physician give me a drug that I was allergic too. I aspirated and sent me in to respiratory failure coded few times. But what made me upset with Dr. Legrand. He would not stand up for me against on call physician. During legal interventions. After 7.5 years I'm still on oxygen 24/7. Still disabled.
Dr Legrand did my husbands VSG surgery in May 2019 and did mine in Oct 2019 he has helped us save and improve our lives. We never felt rushed by him and he takes the time to explains things very well. Was very pleased with the level of care he gave both my husband and myself. Would recommend him to anyone!
I had stomach bypass surgery and hernia surgery and was very pleased with Dr. LeGrand, would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Legrand just got through with my surgery on Oct 23 2017 and it was a success! I have already lost 38lbs and I’m looking forward to being about 170lbs again in about a year from now! This doctor just about killed my daughter n law. We had to get her out of his care and fly her to Barnes in St.Louis. He took a gastric surgery and botched it so badly she got septic and put on a breathing machine. They had her on some sort of medicine that kept her comatose. Barnes is trying to save her life now. Been a month in ICU now. Thanks to this doctor. Found out today that another patient of his is at Barnes two rooms down in ICU for the same thing. April 2016.
