Dr. Ryan Light was dismissive and lacked compassion during my sister’s appointment. Instead of listening to her concerns, he made inappropriate comments and brushed off her medical needs. His condescending attitude made her feel unheard and uncomfortable discussing other health issues. Patients deserve a doctor who is supportive and professional—unfortunately, that was not our experience at TPMG Greenbrier Family Medicine. I would not recommend him.
Business response:
Thank you for sharing your experience. We are sorry to hear about your sister's visit and take feedback seriously. Please have her contact our office to speak with the Office Manager directly so we can address her concerns.
If you can get an appointment with Dr. Light consider yourself lucky. He is a hard doctor to see but he is very good. The staff dealing with prescriptions, fax orders and referrals...forget it. They NEVER answer the phone and messages left will go unanswered. Too bad because the doc is awesome.
He is great( 5 stars) but his office staff (0 stars) is next to impossible to get a hold of and seems to forget to handle his orders(prescriptions, refills, followups) so if you need regular medications dont go there
Dr. Light told me he wanted tests to rule in/rule out problems definite diagnoses.
Business response:
Our practice aims to deliver the highest quality patient service. Thank you for sharing your experience as we love hearing about them!

He was extremely condescending and unwilling to truly "practice" his profession. He was clear about the fact that he had a "wheelhouse" of skills and was not planning to improve upon his own medical knowledge. My visit was a total waste of time. He even suggested that I could simply maintain my PCP in Rich... read more

Very difficult to deal with the office staff over the phone and when leaving messages no one calls you back! Dr Light is great though!
I absolutely love Dr. Light's practice. They are so responsive to anything that comes up and they are thorough and thoughtful in every situation. They have literally saved me life a few times. I feel so lucky that this is my family practice@
