I was afraid to change my primary doctor from Duke to here in Brunswick county, but I found Dr. Tighe and he is as thorough as my doctor at Duke. He listens to you and takes his time.
I LIKE MY DOCTOR: Dr Tighe has been my family's doctor since I moved to Southport almost 6 yrs ago. I feel very fortunate to have him as my support for the many health issues I endure. He's likely not able to take any new patients at the moment as he is one of the scarce GP's in the area - thank goodness I was taken on as his patient when he was newly arrived at Novant. I was very impressed with everyone’s experience and am in need of a good dr locally so I called and was told point blank by a very rude male receptionist that dr tight is not taking new patients and never will. I asked can I be put on a waiting list for future opening and again he said that dr tighe will never take new patients. Wow is he that good that his patients live forever and never move away. Hardly. Well I’m not impressed.
Thorough and kind. Knowledge and caring. All you want in a doc.
