I went to Dr. Nelson to get sort of a 2nd opinion (based on what my physical therapists had told me), not being sure if my hip was bad enough to do surgery or not, and if it needed it, I wanted to know sooner than later. He found small imperfections in the hip, and the cartilage was in very good shape so nothing to warrant surgery. I appreciate his honesty and his integrity.
Worst experience ever. I had a knee replacement 3 years ago. He cut the back of my knee so bad I couldn’t straighten my leg out. He wanted to manipulate my knee and I told him no. Never recommend him. Finally, I’m doing lots better. Went to a real doctor.
Dr. Nelson had the worst bedside manners of any doctor I’ve ever seen. Didn’t read my file, gave no real recommendations, his assessment didn’t make sense as one sentence contradicted the other, and it was clear he was just in a hurry to get to the next patient. He abruptly left without doing what he said he’d do, and I was left to wander around to find my way out.
