I was seeing Dr. Vanbiber for a few years as my primary care physician. He helped me get through common issues like bronchitis and flu, and was assisting with pain management. I recently called to get my pain management prescriptions updated and he refused. He distanced himself saying he was not taking any new pain management patients and since I had not seen him in a year that I was "new". Very disappointed. He has the power to help me and would not do so, leaving me at the mercy of what's left of the medical community.
Dr Vanbiber and Jennifer (his staff) are excellent. I am glad I found them. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.
I would not recommend going to Dr. VanBiber. While the Doctor himself is personable when he's with you, he did not follow up at all after our meeting. I only found out prescriptions had been prescribed as the Pharmacy called me. They didn't call me at all to explain my blood test results. They allegedly sent me an email, but come to find out it was sent TO THE WRONG PERSON, whom now has my medical information. Also, the office staff is quite unfriendly. Make sure you don't "tap on the glass"!
