I’ve been seeing Dr. Tareen for years. She is, based on my experience with psychiatric care in the area, the best doctor available. Her knowledge of medications and medication interactions is excellent. She evaluates behavior and works accordingly. She does not have the time capacity for psychotherapy.
provided no care, no help, just a dull warm body with no empathy or desire to help. Purposely kept my stay longer and avoided calls on weekend when she was the provider. I hope no one receives care from her- RUN.
Dr. Tareen herself is sharp and conscientious and professional, but she's very insensitive about trauma. And you cannot see her each visit--you must see one of her PAs. Shirley Sanders, who is one of them, has very little business holding her position. She doesn't even know the blood work that is required for a patient on one of my medications.
