Dr. Mando is my GI doctor and it has been great working with him to get things on track. He has a calm and thorough demeanor that has earned my trust. I've had to have a couple of procedures with him and each time he made sure that I was comfortable. I'm confident that I'm on the road to wellness because he is thorough and never dismissive. I’m very thankful for his care and would recommend him to anyone needing a GI specialist.
Dr. Mando is the best GI doctor that I have ever seen. He is the 3rd GI doctor that I have been to and he is the only one that took his time to listen to me and help me find the root to my abdominal problem.
This doctor was absolutely terrible. **DO NOT SCHEDULE WITH HIM.** I was suffering from severe acid reflux for over a week, to the point where I could barely eat or drink. I was rapidly losing weight—13 pounds in one week—because of it. After visiting urgent care, the doctor there took my condition seriously, prescribing antacids and acid reducers while expressing concern that I might have an ulcer. Not sure about the practice or the doctors at all but the receptionist was SOOOOO RUDE I decided to go elsewhere. If the person scheduling appointments does not show any courtesy what hope is there for there for any of the practice.
Doctor Rufaat Mando was probably one of the best Doctors I ever encountered in my life!! He answered every question that I had and went above and beyond to insure that I was comfortable and felt safe! He even asked me what’s my choice of relaxing music that I wanted to listen to before going under anesthesia. Then once my procedure was over he came and checked on me and answered all of my questions yet again! 10/10 experience.
