Dr. Alvi is a fine and caring physician who spends quality time with her patients. She's patient-oriented, not like many physicians who greet you with lap top in hand. I've been going to her for two years now. Her field is gerontology, which fits fine with me, an 86 year old male. There is absolutely none better in my view, an excellent diagnostician!
Dr. Alvi has been my pcp for quite a number of years. She is so caring, warm and genuinely makes her patients feel heard at every visit. Dr. Alvi fosters an open communication in which her and I have arrived at decisions regarding my healthcare with complete understanding and mutual agreement. What I mean is, she allows her patients to feel heard and really invests in finding the best path forward with you as a team. She’s honestly a gem of a doctor!!
Dr. Alvi is my go-to primary care physician, and anytime she can't help with a specific issue she always feels confident in being honest that a specialist may be better. When I came out as trans (something I was very nervous to do) she rolled with it and didn't bat an eye.
I've been a patient for several years and find the doctor and staff always helpful and the doctor takes the time to talk through my questions.
I saw Dr Alvi for my Physicals in March 2019. I love the atmosphere in the clinic, the staff are super friendly and caring and Dr Alvi was awesome. In today’s busy lifestyle, she is one physician who will spend good amount of time listening to you and give you a thorough work up.
Absolutely disgusted with the so called manager Shannon. Defending and argumentative with no apology offered after my daughter was basically body shamed by the doctor. She has been going there for years and because she didn’t look upset when leaving by any of the staff she is fine. Wow. Not to mention the reason she was here had nothing to do with her weight and they have no diagnosis only 5 or 6 guesses. Even after be told that is enough by he adult in the room she did not stop. I couldn’t give
