He saved my life If not for Dr. Kaplan, I wouldn't be alive. I was having extreme pain, unable to sleep, and it was getting worse every day. They set an appointment, but worked to get me in much sooner (less than a week) than the scheduled appointment when no other Rheumatologist office would work me in sooner than a month and a half. The best doctor I have ever seen I have been a patient of Dr. Kaplan since 1993. He is widely regarded as the best rheumatologist in the northern part of San Diego County, if not the entire county. His office staff includes a nurse practitioner, and several nurses. He has his own infusion clinic, so that when your treatment includes periodic intravenous infusions of modern biological agents (the drugs of choice for the auto-immune forms of arthritis and related conditions [lupus, psoriasis, etc.]) you see his staff, not the ... read more
Dr. Dr. Kaplan is a world-class physician. He looks beyond the symptoms and finds the cause. He spends the time to listen, analyze, and explain, leaving no stone unturned. He actively pursues treatment solutions and will work persistently with insurance companies to get approvals for necessary treatments. I would highly recommend him.
