I strongly believe in joint medical decision-making between me and my patients. I ensure that when my patients leave my office that they have a good understanding of their condition, possible causes, diagnostic plan, and treatment options. I would like my patients to be active in their health care decisions and perceive me as their medical advisor.

I had been seeing Dr. Aranas for several years when I decided it was time to taper off my medication, so I booked an appointment with her to discuss. Not only did she not have any tapering recommendations for me, she actually recommended I stop this medication cold turkey. A simple Google search would tell you that's unadvisable. I was left with no other option than to come up with my own tapering schedule and ended up having terrible side effects. Eventually I got more medication from an immediate care doctor, and an approp... read more
Awful doctor and terrible staff. Sour personalities. Called me to reschedule my next appt and then hung up and never called me back. Doctor basically told me nothing about my condition
Staff is rude and abrasive, really do not care about the patient. When calling office phone rings off the hook, once I called and the phone rang 35 times and never went to voicemail. Sometimes they answer and sometimes they do not, very inconsistent. No empathy or concern, when I have been in the office the staff is always on their cell phones. The staff is not always a reflection of the Doctor, but they should care what people experience.
While I give Dr. Aranas high marks, I rate her staff poor. I recently when to my scheduled appointment only to find out the staff canceled it. They said "you didn't confirm the text or voice mail". Perhaps they need to know that no everyone has a mobile glue to their ear or even keep it charge up when not use it. I come from the old school where you make an appointment and the arrive early. I had to wait for the appointment I had and now zip. Looks like I need to go elsewhere. Sorry Doc.
The receptionists are always very rude when I go there and some even watch Netflix while patients are waiting. Dr. Aranas is very kind and helpful, however wants lots of bloodwork done. I have gone to her for a year and a half and have had to get bloodwork done three times. She has put me on lots of medication, one of which has given me a stomach ulcer. I ultimately had to leave her practice.
I found her to be a very caring Dr. She listen to all of my complaints and addressed them one by one. She really took the time to make sure I fully understand my options and we selected them under a mutual agreement what would be the best route to take. I would highly recommend her.
Dr. Aranas has been one of the few physicians that has taken the time to listen, understand complex symptoms, and advocate for me as a patient and individual. She is compassionate, extremely well-versed in her diverse practice, and never hesitates to refer patients to other clinicians that are the best in the field. Her staff are all incredibly sweet and work with you to get required documentation to various parties. If you are hesitating- book an appointment and you will not regret it!
Dr Aranas takes time to listen and answer all your questions. One of the best doctors I've come in contact with.
We went to see her but the office was toxic. The receptionist sprayed bleach everywhere and we started itching and tearing and sneezing. She said she did it because the bathroom was too stinky! She did not have a room available to put us in isolationaway from the fumes and we couldnt wait in the toxic office. We left before we were able to be seen
