Dr Mateo was brought in heading my mother's case when she was a patient at Easton Memorial ER after lab results revealed a systemic candida albicans infection and raging parasitic infection gone to her heart valve. I complained to five different drs about her needing tested for a parasitic infection do to markings I was finding subcutaneously on my mothers arms and Legs. She was wonderful with my Mom.
Dr. Mateo has shown a very good bedside manor and has been thorough in explaining her thoughts and ideas on a number of occasions. She does have limited availability because she has so many patients. That is an unfortunate effect of the modern medical industry. To my understanding she does only have one day a week to see patients at her office. That is because the other working days of the week she is at the hospital. Anyway, I am sorry to see a couple bad reviews because I recommend her and have had good experience with her... read more
I had COVID and infection that was resisting antibiotic treatments, but instead of addressing infectious disease she said I had to go to ENT instead. Seriously do not recommend her.
