She told my sister there was nothing wrong with her when she literally couldn't walk. She has muscular dystrophy. She will waste your time and cause you more pain. I think she likes doing that.
Wonderful doctor! Dr. Stevens has been my personal, primary care doctor for many years. He is simply outstanding. Where should I begin? First, he is very knowledgeable and has tremendous experience. During a visit with Dr. Nelson, she asked what my husband's name was. When I replied, she retorted with "is he...foreign?" in an assuming and discriminatory tone. For the rest of the appointment, her demeanor changed and I felt that my care was determined my husband's race. I have left a formal complaint with HealthPartners, but after some thought I have decided to let others know so this doesn't happen to anyone else as this was an incredibly upsetting experience.
Impractical doctor with a poor sense of dignity.
He is the worst doctor I have ever came across. He asks you what’s happened, you tell him and he tells you what he thinks happened. He’s not even a surgeon.
I have been seeing Dr. Stevens for about 20 years. I drive about 50 miles round trip to see him despite the fact that there are many other doctors near me I could? see.
Dr. Nelson is by far one of the best! She is down to earth, gets to the point and answers all my questions honestly. She is great at what she does and is a doctor who I can truly trust. She looks out for my best interests and I can’t be more thankful that I found her as my doctor. She has delivered both my daughter and son. She is professional but makes you also feel at home. Seriously If she ever leaves this state I would fly to see her for my yearly checkup! That’s how awesome she is!
Worst person I have ever interacted with in my life. They should not let this person practice medicine based on my experiences.
Likelihood of recommending Dr. Nelson to family and friends - Never would recommend this horrible woman. Dr. Nelson will has no respect for patients, she is a horrible person to her core. She should be barred, Dr. Nelson practicing medicine is comparable to my 5 year old and he would do a better job than her. I hope she loses her license and gets barred soon. I will do everything in my power to make sure it happens.
