During the 4th of July weekend, the park is a hub of culture & connectivity across the African Diaspora! The International African Arts Festival is a taste of home! The vendors come from a variety of places providing a variety of items (clothing/shoes, jewelry, accessories, instruments, food, traditional & educational entertainment, music...). I look forward to it EVERY year for more than 34 years (originally it was at Boys & Girls HS field in Bed Sty). Put it on your calendar! You won't want to miss it!
