We discovered this lovely park while walking around Crown Heights and were grateful we wandered through. We spent time admiring the memorial to Dr. Ronald McNair, which unexpectedly brought back memories for my husband. His mother hosted the wake for the Challenger crew at her home in Charlotte, NC, and he remembers parts of that time. It was a powerful reminder that public art and memorials connect us to history in deeply personal ways. Thank you for preserving this meaningful space.
Great little park. Plenty of shade trees, benches. Also several tables with checkerboards built in for chess or picnicing. Clean, maintenance is good.
Quiet Brooklyn park located nearby the Brooklyn Museum and Botanical Garden.
