Let me first start by saying, my entire life going to the dentist I have never heard there being an additional charge for the actual Dentist (DDS) to examine your teeth after a teeth cleaning. After the $140 cleaning, Toluca Lake Dentistry charged me an ADDITIONAL $286 for x-rays/photos and for the dentist to then come in and look at the x-rays. They told me my fillings from 20 years ago (and another dentist) had lost their seal and needed to be redone. One of my redone fillings fell out. The staff tried to blame me and say I must have been clenching my jaw or grinding my teeth. I left to find another dentist and have the fillings they did looked at and possibly redone. I’ve never had a filling fall out - ever. I’m now scared of what was done to my teeth and regret ever going here. They also tried to charge me for having to redo the filling that they messed up.
