I had a TKR left knee in May 2017 and came back for the right knee in October 2019. Wish I had never waited. Both were extremely satisfying and what a doctor and staff to work with. I cannot begin to tell you the confidence I have in Dr. Meisel and his work. Absolutely superior. If you need the best please go to him.
Dr. Meisel is saved my husband's life. He is detail-oriented and patient-focused. Being extremely thorough, he ordered a stress test prior to my husband's knee replacement. Life-threatening coronary artery blockages were subsequently discovered and corrected. After recovery from the bypass surgery, my husband underwent both knee replacements, 5 months apart, by Dr. Meisel. It was incredible how perfect these 2 surgeries went. Dr. Meisel's major joint replacement program in outstanding!!
Dr. Meisel gave me a hip replacement and is very good at what he does. He has performed many surgeries on a number of my family members all with great results. Very professional at what he does and is extremely thorough. If you are in doubt or need a second opinion he's your Doctor to go see regarding any type ortho surgeries. Dr. Miesel has been taking care of my family for many years. He also takes care of many of my coworkers. He takes time to explain things in terms the average person can understand. He never pushes surgery unless it's a last resort to fix your problem. I would not want to see anyone else.
He really enjoys giving his staff injections in hip for his employees which are women without someone to oversee, don't make same mistake
Dr. Meisel has been our family Orthopedic surgeon for over 15 years. Started when my daughter was in High School and needed her knee taken care of - since then he has worked on 2 of our kids, my husbands shoulder, my knee and next both of my hands. He is an awesome surgeon, very thorough and takes time to explain everything. We are confident in his skill and expertise.
Dr Meisel is an awesome surgeon because he is very skilled and very ethical. He is not going to perform an unnecessary surgery. You leave with a feeling of satisfaction and trust that he will take good care of you.
Took time to explain my medical problem. Gave me other alternatives to surgery and was honest about possible outcomes.
Not very happy with the service we received my husband wanted to see Dr. Meisel for a second opinion. Was told he is going on vacation for a week and we will have to wait to see if he would see my husband for the second opinion. Would not even make an appointment for us unless the doctor looked at the records. They waited a week and a half to let us know he would not see him. Wasted a week and a half of our time. My husband even lift his arm.
