My wife went and saw him today and said he was a terrible cardiologist she went in for a stress test and he was rude to her while she was dizzy on the treadmill and had to stop. She says he yelled at her or talk rudely to her about prior history and family from heart issues and said she should go talk to her dad about it but he is dead and go look it up on google. Dr. Kantola put my first Difficulator/Pacemaker in 16 years ago and has been my heart doctor every since. He has always prescribed the newest medications to keep me alive. He's kind, caring, and definitely will have your heart in his best interests. He doesn't sugar-coat anything, so don't expect to be told you're going to be okay if you're not. But from experience, I know he will do whatever it takes to make you okay. I trust Dr. Kantola 100% with my life.
Dr. Kantola has no bedside manners. He was rude, condescending and disrespectful to me when I seen him. And when my mother was in the hospital a couple years later. He was also rude and disrespectful to my mother and even told her to shut up when she was asking him about her heart and about her medications. Basically my mother was verbally abused by Dr. Kantola during her stay at the hospital. Me and my elderly mother don't recommend him. Stay away from Dr. Kantola.
