I was given a referral from my Dr to see a specialist at Sutter. My insurance company sent them an authorization and Sutter's referral department said they received it and entered it into their system. However I am not even able to make an appointment with them until they approve it, which takes 5 business days. When you are experiencing health concerns and have been advised to see a specialist, having to wait a week to even MAKE an appointment is beyond nerve-wracking.
