Horrible interpersonal skills - never greets the patient or family members, never once introduced himself as the doctor. Terrible follow up - forgets to submit prescriptions, orders, and referrals, lousy communication through the awful Pinnacle portal, gives different instructions to his assistant than what he said to the patient. Seems like a really lazy doctor and has an awful, condescending bedside manner. On top of that, the Pinnacle group is a shambles in terms of scheduling and communication. Go anywhere else.

Dr. Hicks is always thorough, shows interest, and takes all measures necessary to ensure my ailments are diagnosed and treated accurately. I feel comfortable being honest with Dr. Hicks; I don't feel judged the way other doctors have made me feel. I think he genuinely cares about the health and well-being of his patients. The only thing is, his schedule is sometimes unstructured so its best to call first thing in the morning to make appointments.
He is knowledgeable and thorough. There are wait times when you have an appointment, but it is worth getting all the information.
Takes his time to discuss everything in great detail.
