receptionist is the worst, first I came in for tinnitus ( ringing in ear ) a couple years back, Told me I need an MRI done, the receptionist took 3 months to give me a call to set up an appointment that wasn't for another 5 months. Did not send my family doctor all the MRI's. Got a call back told Dr Chaban I am certain I have a blood flow issues and he agreed I need another MRI done and that the receptionist would set it up and give me call, 2 years later still no call back. Absolutely terrible. Had a collapsed external/internal valve, and a deviated septum. His advice , was to breathe through my mouth . Excessive mouth breathing puts extra strain on your heart as well as causing all sorts of other problems, as a doctor you would think he would know this.
I recently visited this otolaryngologist due to persistent noise in my left ear. My family doctor had expressed concern, as issues in only one ear can be significant, and referred me to this specialist. The assistant conducted a hearing test, which revealed high-frequency hearing loss. However, the actual examination by the doctor was extremely disappointing.
