My experience with Dr Allen has scarred me for months. He made me feel very uncomfortable and belittled for asking questions even though I wouldn't ask much and was just listening alternatively most of the time. I found him to lack empathy as he gave me a hard time for appearing worried just after I'd found out I might have needed surgery. Dr Rod Allen is a professional and knowledgeable obstetrician, and is very patient and thorough in his care. I had an amazing experience, especially as it was my first pregnancy. Helen and Julie-Anne are so friendly and lovely too! Highly recommend :)

After years of pain and no answers Dr Allen provided me with quality care and most importantly validated my health issues and I cannot thank him enough.
Dr Rod has looked after me for my second and third pregnancies. After a traumatic first birth (pre term labour) he supported, and helped me get to 38 weeks for both pregnancies. My husband and I will never be able to express how grateful we are to Dr Rod and his team. I would recommend him to the moon and back. Dr Rod, Helen and Julie-Ann are an excellent team they all make you feel so welcome and comfortable.
