BREAKING THE LAW These people are refusing to give me my medical record and requiring me to pay for a second appointment in order to get it. All I needed was my labs — it’s actually illegal to withhold medical records in CA.. but they don’t care, they told me “it’s our policy you have to do a return visit to get your labs” That’s not even legal in CALIFORNIA.. what a policy.. Multiple calls— multiple emails— no response/ no records Now I’m going to have to have my family lawyer contact them— this is insanity.
I am concerned about a serious violation of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) that occurred at Dr. Robin Zakariaei's office on August 22nd 2024 At approximately 3:30 PM, one of the doctor's assistants engaged in a loud discussion with a patient about a confidential medical condition in a public area of the office.
